فرستنده‌های فشار دیفرانسیل (DP) در ترانسمیترهای اختلاف فشار یوکوگاوا EJA118W، اختلاف فشار بین دو نقطه را اندازه‌گیری می‌کنند. آن‌ها از نقطه مرجعی به نام فشار سمت پایین استفاده می کنند و آن را با فشار سمت بالا مقایسه می کنند. درگاه‌های دستگاه با سمت فشار بالا و پایین مشخص می‌شوند. بسته به اینکه فشار سمت پایین یا بالا مقدار بزرگتری داشته باشد، قرائت DP می‌تواند منفی یا مثبت باشد. فرستنده DP را می‌توان به عنوان یک فرستنده فشارسنج استفاده کرد اگر قسمت پایین باز بماند.
