فناوری MVD، پردازش سیگنال با سرعت بالا است که در الکترونیک برای ارائه دقت در سخت‌ترین شرایط از جمله گاز حباب شده، نویز بالا، چرخش زیاد و موارد دیگر تعبیه شده است. پردازش دیجیتال Front-end به طور چشمگیری نویز سیگنال را کاهش می‌­دهد و زمان پاسخ سریع‌­تری را برای شناسایی و حل مشکلات یا عیب­یابی داخلی به شما می‌­دهد.

این دستگاه فرستنده­‌ای است با قابلیت نصب میدانی با فناوری MVD که برای نصب فشرده و یکپارچه طراحی شده است. این فرستنده ها دارای محفظه مقاوم Class I, Division 1 / Zone 1 با رابط اپراتور محلی اختیاری هستند که برای آسان کردن دسترسی به فلومتر طراحی شده است. راه‌اندازی فلومتر ساده است و عملاً نیازی به برنامه نویسی خاصی ندارد.

این دستگاه به طور همزمان چندین متغیر از جمله: اندازه جریان جرمی، اندازه جریان حجمی، سرعت جریان حجم استاندارد گاز، چگالی و دما را می‌سنجد و از خروجی‌های مدنظر از جمله میلی آمپر، فرکانس و I/O گسسته با استفاده از HART، Modbus، FOUNDATION fieldbus, PROFIBUS-PA digital communications را به کاربر می‌دهد.

از توانایی‌های این دستگاه می‌توان به موارد زیر اشاره کرد:

• انعطاف پذیری را با نصب integral یا از راه دور به حداکثر می‌رساند
• هزینه سیم‌کشی را کاهش می‌دهد و به راحتی و سریع نصب می‌شود
• نیاز به ابزار اضافی را از بین می‌برد
• دارای گواهی SIL2 و SIL3 و تایید custody-transfer
